At Kid Life we encourage people of all ages to serve within the church. One such opportunity is for our youth (5th-12th grade) to lead within Kid Life. We invite responsible youth (5th-8th) to volunteer in both the nursery and in Critterland and older youth (9th-12th) to volunteer in nursery, critterland, and elementary. You must enjoy working with younger children, have a passion for Christ, and be respectful to the other workers in those classes. If this is a position that you are interested in, please fill out this application.

Which age would you like to work with?
The Children's Ministry Leadership Team wants our teens to participate in service and discipleship opportunities.
Teen Volunteers are role models and can engage our children in conversation about God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is important for all volunteers to understand the impact they have as they participate in the ministry of the children attending Faithbridge.
Conduct:
1. Dress Code: All volunteers should dress appropriately and modestly for interacting with adults and children. Young girls and boys are especially observant of what teens are wearing because they want to look grown up too. Never underestimate your influence on younger children.
2. Technology: All volunteers should monitor the use of personal technology. If volunteers are distracted with messages, games, social media, etc. then that volunteer is not completely engaged with the children under their responsibility. We need to take advantage of the time to interact and model the love of Jesus Christ with children. We also prohibit youth volunteers from photographing children during programming. This is to protect both the child and the youth volunteer.
3. Training: All volunteers should attend children ministry training sessions and meet with one of the ministry leaders.
I understand the importance of my volunteering as a teen role model to the children who attend Kid Life activities. I am willing to share my time, talents, and service to others by mentoring, serving and connecting with each child under my area of responsibility. I am willing to follow the guidelines for dress and personal responsibilities.
